These Terms & Conditions apply to all guests of Iceavik Nordic Wellness (“Iceavik,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including use of our website, booking of services, purchase of gift cards or memberships, and visits to our facility. By accessing our website, making a booking, or entering the spa, you agree to the following terms.
Reservations and Arrival Times
Advance reservations are strongly recommended and may be required.
The time selected during booking is the guest’s arrival time. Guests may enjoy the Nordic experience from their booked arrival time until the close of day. Entry prior to the booked arrival time is not permitted.
Re-entry is not permitted. Once a guest leaves the property for any reason, including meals or personal errands, they will not be allowed to return later the same day.
Iceavik reserves the right to manage capacity and modify schedules or availability as required for operational or safety reasons.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled arrival time are subject to a 50% charge of the applicable service or Nordic pass fee.
Guests who do not arrive for their booking (no-shows) will be charged the full day fee.
Gift Cards and Memberships
Gift cards and memberships are non-refundable, have no cash value, and may not be exchanged for cash unless required by law. Lost or stolen gift cards or memberships cannot be replaced.
Membership benefits are subject to availability and may not be combined with other offers unless explicitly stated. Iceavik reserves the right to amend membership terms with reasonable notice.
Age Requirements and Identification
Guests 16 years of age and older may access the Nordic experience without supervision.
Guests aged 14 and 15 are permitted only when accompanied and supervised at all times by a parent or legal guardian.
Guests must be 18 years of age to receive massage treatments.
Valid government-issued photo identification may be required at check-in. Guests who appear to be under the age of 25 may be asked to provide identification. Guests who cannot meet age or identification requirements will be denied entry.
Definition of Parent or Legal Guardian
A parent or legal guardian includes a biological, adoptive, foster, or step-parent, or any individual who has assumed responsibility for the care and supervision of a minor or has a legal obligation to do so.
Siblings are not considered parents or legal guardians unless they have assumed such responsibility or legal duty. An adult accompanying a minor as part of a couple or pair does not qualify as a parent or legal guardian unless they meet the criteria above.
Health, Wellness, and Medical Considerations
Guests participate in spa activities at their own discretion and are responsible for monitoring their own comfort and well-being.
Guests who are pregnant, taking medication, or managing health conditions are encouraged to consult a healthcare professional before their visit. Certain treatments or experiences may not be appropriate in all circumstances.
Guests are required to complete a health intake form prior to treatments. Practitioners reserve the right to request additional information or decline services if a treatment is deemed unsuitable.
Illness Policy
For the health and safety of guests and staff, anyone experiencing symptoms of illness — including fever, cough, nausea, runny nose, vomiting, or diarrhea — is asked to postpone their visit.
Iceavik reserves the right to deny entry or discontinue services for guests who appear unwell. Practitioners may refuse to provide treatments if a guest is exhibiting symptoms of illness.
Alcohol, Cannabis, and Substances
Guests are strongly discouraged from consuming alcohol or cannabis prior to arrival. Personal alcoholic beverages, cannabis, or other recreational drugs are not permitted on site.
Iceavik reserves the right to deny or discontinue spa access to any guest who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
Conduct and Etiquette
Iceavik is a shared wellness environment. Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward others and staff at all times. Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in removal from the facility without refund.
Quiet voices are encouraged throughout the spa.
Phones and Photography
Personal phones are permitted within the spa. Guests may take photos; however, Iceavik cannot control or monitor images or recordings captured by guests.
Guests are expected to respect the privacy of others and avoid capturing identifiable images of other guests without consent. Phones and personal devices are strictly prohibited in change rooms, washrooms, and other designated private areas.
Video Surveillance
For the safety and security of guests, staff, and property, Iceavik uses video surveillance in select public areas. Cameras are not located in private spaces such as change rooms or washrooms.
Weather and Outdoor Conditions
Iceavik operates year-round and remains open in most weather conditions, including rain and snow. Indoor spaces are available for guests to warm up or dry off.
During thunderstorms, outdoor pools may close temporarily due to lightning. Indoor areas remain available. In cases of severe weather warnings or road closures, guests are encouraged to contact the spa or check official communication channels before travelling.
Personal Belongings
Lockers are provided for guest convenience. Iceavik is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Website Use and Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, logos, and branding, is the property of Iceavik Nordic Wellness and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written consent.
Website content is provided for general information purposes and may be updated at any time.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, Iceavik is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website, services, or facilities.
Changes to These Terms
Iceavik reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be posted on our website.
